Have you ever practice the ski mountaineering? In the course of its kind to learn to make safe ski mountain routes with little difficulty in snowy terrain. Avoid the dangers that you can find during a skiing day with your friends. You will learn the basic techniques of up on skis with and without skins, and technical descent on virgin snow. To this we'll add the security protocols, prevention and rescue in avalanche.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES.
Understand and become familiar with the ski mountaineering up progression techniques, the different types of snow and avalanches, and know the workings of the ARVA device.

OPERATIVE OBJECTIVES.
Learn the progression techniques without skins.
Learn the progression techniques with skins.
Learn the operating techniques the ARVA device.
Learn the descent techniques groups.
Learn the security protocols to an area of ​​avalanche danger.
Learn the research protocols of victims with the ARVA device.
Use correctly the specific material.
Techniques descent group.

ORGANIZATION.

  • Duration: 5 days intensive.
  • Dates: From 13 to 17 February, 2012.
  • Hours: 9 to 16 hours. Depending on weather and snow.
  • Location: La Molina. At 9 am on Monday 23 January. Cerdanya

PRICE.

  • From 4 to 10 persons: 375 € / person. 345€ UEC members.

The price includes 5 days a High Mountain Guide UIAGM teaching. Course information folder. First day half board (dinner, bed and breakfast), 4 days full board (half board + picnic) and special last day lunch closing course. Includes sheets and towels in the Xalet UEC refuge in La Molina.

Do not include personal equipment such as skis, boots, poles, skins, ski crampons and ARVA device. Do not include insurance or transportation from your departure point to the area of the course, first day ski pass. Nothing that appears in the paragraph above.
