Expeditions

Maybe you don't have the time to design, organize and prepare an expedition. ¡Let a professional do it!

The main goals of this section are: organize, prepare and make possible a expedition to an extraeuropean peak; make an ascension to the peak with the minimum risk for all the participants; share the expedition environment, the teamwork and collaboration with the whole group and, most importantly, getting the personal satisfaction explorers get, even if you dont reach the peak!

Aconcagua, 6.959m

Do you want to have the whole american continent under your feet? We'll take a brief rest to get used to the altitude in the Cerro Plomo, which is 5.500 metres, and then we'll start ascending the Aconcagua. It takes 21 days to reach this goal! The best period to try the ascension is the first winter months, specially december and january.

Elbrus, 5.642m

Fotografía del Refugio PrijutDuring a long time the 5.642 meters Elbrus peak has been forgotten, but its the non C.E.E. Europe's highest peak. Thanks to airway companies' facilities last years it became easy to fly to this area, and with the political aperture to active tourism, the Elbrus has been an objective for a lot of climbers.

Placed in the Kabardino Balkaria Russian republic, is called in this place, the Mangitau, which means "The highest over thousands of mountains". In this Caucasus mountainous area there are more than 160 peaks that are over 4.000 meters and 8 over 5.000.

Fotografia amb la ruta d'ascensIn a 12 days expedition, we'll attempt to reach the west Elbrus peak massif. If the group acclimatization is good, the climbing speed correct and there is acceptable weather, we'll have the possibility of reaching the 5.626 meters east peak during the same day.

Technically easy, you need a big resistance to success in this expedition. Another important element is the personal equipment: appropiate clothing, climbing shoes, gloves and sleeping bag, because it isn't scarce to reach -25ºC.
