Ski mountaineering
The pleasure of letting yourself slide through virgin snow slopes. The hardness of this sport until you get to the summit turns out to be totally rewarded with the incomparable pleasure of sliding yourself through fresh snow slopes in an unequaled scenario: the winter's high mountain.
Chile volcanoes
At just two hours away there's a huge skiable domain waiting for us. It includes four ski resorts: Farellones, Colorado, Valle Nevado and La Parva, plus the free-ride possibilities arround this four resorts. Easy on-skis access mountains are waiting for us. Rarely visited places that offer great snow quality and off-piste skiing.
We'll then head to the southern Chile, where we'll find incredibly beautiful mountains and lakes, glaciers and thousand-year-old forests, inhabited by the famous araucarias Alerces that are found among the most beautiful on the planet. The area is also indian land, where there actually are pehuenches tribes preserving their culture and way of life.
This ski mountaineering programme has been created to make the most of your skiing time and being able to see as many Chile's winter landscapes as you can, taking advantage of the slopes, snow and skiable domains richness this country can offer. We'll stay in refuges, logdes and hotels. The difficulty of the places we are going to ski can vary depending on your interests and the participants' skiing level.
