IFMGA Mountain Guide (EEAMB 1996-2006). Member of the Spanish Association of Mountain Guides (AEGM).
For years he has practiced his two great passions, the mountains and photography as hobbies. Currently, he combines the professions of IFMGA Mountain Guide and outdoor photographer in MTB races, mountain marathons or climbing, and for the magazine Cadí Pedraforca of Editorial Gavarres.
After working 6 winters as a ski patrol in a Catalan Pyrenees ski resort, he has spent several seasons of the austral summer, working as a guide for a Chilean agencies as Azimut 360 and Chilemontaña, in Patagonia and the highest peak in America, Aconcagua.
Since 1998 he has been working around the world as a free-lance guide, and since December 2007 he has also been the manager of the Companyia de Guies Carros de Foc, linked to the famous trekking trip in Pyrenees called Carros de Foc.
As an IFMGA Mountain Guide he has worked for the NKBV (Dutch Alpine Club) since 1998, and for different companies as the Norwegian Hvitserk, the American Apogee Adventures, or others around the world.
He has been in a some expeditions to the Andes mountain ranges in South America, and the Himalayas, Karakorum and Hindu Kush in Asia.
Between his trips they emphasize the second crossing of the Himalayas in MTT in 1987; the ascent to the top of the Ararat of 5.165 meters in 1989, making the descent by MTT from the 4.400 meters; the solo ascent of Huayna Potosí or his 7 ascents to the top of Aconcagua, Mt.Kenya, Elbrus, Ararat or Chimborazo as a guide among others.
He is a member of the Servei General d’Informació de Muntanya from Sabadell since 1982, one of the great mountain libraries in Europe and a world leader.
With the camera on, he has traveled Vietnam, Brazil, Jordan, Egypt, India, and Laos, among other countries in Europe, Asia and America.
